How about starting the year by first dying to the last one. I will try to remember each month, bring to my present each event, laugh and cry.
This is a day like any other but today humanity says that the cycle earth goes undertakes around the sun is complete and that idea, meme, culture, energy, and spirit propagates through all beings and plans. This is the time to Die.
All the thoughts, frustrations, happy moments, sadness, proud, joy, let it come to your mind, that moment you received a beautiful praise this year, now let it go.. no longer exists, don't let it linger on your behavior. That sad moment your boyfriend said goodbye, it's done, no longer matters because no longer exists. Consume it in your mind as if your spirit was the fire of renewal.
.. so.. come on... let go! Let it Die. Use your fire within to let it go.... and if a new though pops up, let it came savor it don't try to dismiss it even if it's a painful one is also part of you so live it. Pass the moment on the fire of your spirit so that it burns, gets consumed and Free.
Don't think of what you haven't done or done that is gone, dead.
Breath, let the peaceful stillness come to you, feel the present moment feel the emptiness..
Now you are ready to receive this renewal this new life, this new time this chance, beautiful dance of cycles and exchanges with growing awareness of you Self.
